Manage avatars and photos:
An avatar lets Verizon B2B Communities members quickly associate comments and status updates with a simple visual cue. To manage and change your own avatar or photos, just click the Avatar or Photos tab.
Change your password:
Changing your password is easy:
- Go to the top right, select your avatar and click Change Password.
- Change your password. The strength meter will measure your new password’s strength and tell you what you can do to improve it.
- Once you meet all the requirements, clickSave.
Note: If you don't see the Change Password link, then your Verizon B2B Communities administrator has this permission disabled, and you’ll need to contact the administrator to change or reset your password.
Change your profile info and email address:
Want to change the information in your profile? Click the avatar in the top right corner and select Edit Profile. From there, you’ll see the options to change your personal information, including your email address.
If you can't edit a field like your name or profile title, it's typically because your permissions are set up this way. Often, fields like name, title, email address, and department aren't entered manually. They typically come from a directory server such as Active Directory. In this case, your administrator can’t edit the fields directly from the profile.
If you’d like to cancel/disable your account, please contact a system administrator, Verizon_moderator, for assistance.
Turn off notifications:
If this feature is enabled, you can click the unsubscribe link to stop receiving notifications. It switches the Receive notifications? option to No on your preferences page.
Disable email notifications:
If you’d like to stop getting email notifications, press your profile icon in the top right corner, select Personal and then Preferences. You can then adjust the settings under Notification Preferences and Inbox Notifications to opt out of email notifications.
Update privacy settings:
To change your privacy settings, click on your profile icon in the top right corner. From there, select Personal and then Edit Profile. You’ll be able to see a page with three options: Profile Details, Privacy and Avatar. Click Privacy and adjust settings.
